Kingston is a small city of about 1,000 people in northwest Georgia's Bartow County, about 45 miles north of Atlanta via I-75 and Route 293. US 411 connects it to Rome and Cartersville, making it a quiet stop along the Etowah River valley. The town features one of Georgia's few remaining authentic covered bridges.
