Kingsley is a small Jefferson County community of about 440 people, located 15 miles southwest of Louisville via I-264 west. The area sits in Kentucky's rolling Ohio River valley with typical humid subtropical weather. Most visitors arrive via I-264 or I-65, with Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport about 20 miles northeast. The community was named after early 19th-century settler families who farmed this fertile river valley.
