Kinderhook is a small farming town of 250 people in western Illinois's Pike County, sitting along Highway 106 near the Mississippi River bluffs. Most visitors arrive via Interstate 72 to Pittsfield, then drive 12 miles west on Highway 106. The restored 1870s railroad depot serves as the town's community center and main landmark.
