Kimberly is a farming town of 5,100 people in Idaho's Magic Valley, five miles northwest of Twin Falls on US 30. Most visitors drive I-84 to Exit 173, then follow US 30 west. It's 125 miles east of Boise and about 200 miles north of Salt Lake City. The high desert climate brings snowy winters and hot, dry summers. You can still see Oregon Trail wagon ruts carved into the basalt rock north of town.
