Kidder is a farming town of 501 people in northwest Missouri, about 60 miles northeast of Kansas City via I-35 to Cameron, then Highway 36 east. The area features rolling prairie with corn and soybean fields between oak groves. Its historic concrete grain elevator towers over the flat farmland and remains visible for miles around.
