Kickapoo Site 7 is a tiny farming community in northeastern Kansas, about 15 miles northwest of Hiawatha. Most visitors arrive via US 36 from St. Joseph or Kansas City, then take county roads through corn and soybean country. The 64 residents live along the Kickapoo River, which gave the settlement its name and once served as a transportation route for Native American tribes.
