Keysville is a small Burke County town in east-central Georgia, about 45 miles southwest of Augusta via US Highway 25. The main routes are US 25 running north-south and State Route 24 going east-west, connecting to the regional highway system. From Atlanta, it's about 150 miles via I-20 east to Augusta, then south on US 25. The town sits in rolling pine country near the Savannah River and was named after William Key, who ran an early trading post at this rural crossroads.
