Keystone Heights is a small city in northern Florida's Clay County, known for its chain of clear lakes and unusual rolling hills. Located about 45 miles southwest of Jacksonville via State Road 21 and 25 miles east of Gainesville on State Road 100, it's easily accessible for day trips from both cities. The area sits nearly 200 feet above sea level, giving it some of Florida's highest terrain. Most notably, Keystone Beach offers a rare natural sand beach on a freshwater lake.
