Kewaunee is a small lakefront city on Wisconsin's Lake Michigan shore, about 30 miles northeast of Green Bay via Highway 42. The route from Milwaukee takes Interstate 43 north to Highway 310 east, then Highway 42 north. The city serves as a gateway to Door County and features an active 1891 lighthouse that doubles as a maritime museum with panoramic lake views.
