Keo is a small farming town of about 300 people in central Arkansas, 30 miles southeast of Little Rock via Highway 165. The straightforward drive from Little Rock takes 45 minutes through flat agricultural country. Most traffic uses Highway 165 to connect with Interstate 40 near Lonoke or continue south toward Pine Bluff. The town sits along the historic Butterfield Overland Mail route from the 1850s.
