Kensington is a small Maryland town 12 miles northwest of DC, easily reached via the Capital Beltway (I-495) at Exit 33 or straight up Connecticut Avenue from downtown. Popular with commuters for its MARC train station, the town of 2,400 sits among rolling hills with mature trees. The original 1894 train depot still operates today, connecting residents to Union Station just like when the town was founded.
