Kennan is a tiny Price County community of 112 people in Wisconsin's north woods, accessible via Highway 13 from Medford (30 miles south) or Phillips (15 miles north). The area features dense forests and lakes with cold winters and warm summers. One of Wisconsin's last operating one-room schoolhouse museums preserves early 1900s rural education history here.
