Katy is a Houston suburb about 30 miles west of downtown, accessible via Interstate 10 and the Grand Parkway loop. This family-oriented community in three counties offers excellent schools and easy commuter access to Houston's job centers. The area has several EV charging stations and sits near West Houston Airport. Katy gets its name from railroad workers who called the Missouri-Kansas-Texas line the "K-T."
