Kaser is a small village in Rockland County, about 30 miles northwest of Manhattan via the Palisades Interstate Parkway to Exit 14, then Route 306 north. The area serves as home to one of the largest Hasidic Jewish communities in the country, with most residents commuting to New York City via the George Washington Bridge connection. Local routes include Route 306 and Route 45, while longer trips use Route 17 and Interstate 87. The village operates its own volunteer fire department from a single firehouse on Route 306.
