Kanosh is a small farming town in central Utah's Pahvant Valley, sitting along US Highway 50 about 15 miles west of I-15. Most visitors pass through on the cross-country "Loneliest Road in America" route, while locals use Highway 50 for trips to Fillmore. The town was named after Chief Kanosh, a Pahvant Ute leader who converted to Mormonism in the 1870s and maintained peaceful relations with settlers.
