Kangley is a tiny rural community in LaSalle County, about 10 miles south of LaSalle via Route 23. Most visitors arrive from I-80 at Exit 90, then head south through typical Illinois prairie farmland. The area serves local farmers and residents who commute to Ottawa or LaSalle for work. The original post office building still operates as both mail service and unofficial community center.
