Kane is a small mountain town in northwestern Pennsylvania, accessible via US Route 6 and surrounded by the Allegheny National Forest. Most visitors arrive from Pittsburgh via I-80 and US-219, or from Buffalo via US-219 south through the forest. The closest airport is Bradford Regional, about 20 miles north. Kane's historic 1903 railroad depot, now a museum, reflects its heritage as a lumber and railroad division point.
