Kamiah is a small river town along Highway 12 in north-central Idaho, about 75 miles from Lewiston and 150 miles from Missoula. The scenic route follows the Clearwater River through forested hills, popular with Lewis and Clark Trail tourists. EV charging is limited, so plan ahead for longer trips. The town sits at the Heart of the Monster site, a sacred location in Nez Perce legend.
