Kamas is a mountain town about 45 miles east of Salt Lake City that serves as the gateway to Mirror Lake Highway and the Uinta Mountains. Take I-80 east to US-40 through Park City, then SR-248 into town. The scenic drive takes about an hour from Salt Lake City. The town hosts Utah's largest non-motorized parade each July during the Kamas Valley Fiesta.
