Kadoka is a small Interstate 90 town in south-central South Dakota that serves as a pit stop for cross-country travelers. Highway 83 provides north-south connections, while I-90 links it to Rapid City 75 miles west. The surrounding area features rolling prairie and badlands terrain. The Kadoka Press, one of America's smallest weekly newspapers, has served this farming community since 1907.
