Junior is a tiny West Virginia community of 281 people in Barbour County's rolling hills along the Tygart Valley River. US Route 119 provides the main access, connecting to Elkins (15 miles southeast) and Clarksburg (25 miles northeast). The local post office has operated from the same building since 1901, still using its original wooden mail sorting boxes.
