Juliaetta is a small farming town along US Highway 95 in north-central Idaho, about 12 miles south of Moscow. The community of 672 sits among rolling Palouse wheat fields where Juliaetta Creek cuts through the hills. Most travelers use US 95 as the main north-south route between Moscow and Lewiston, while State Route 3 provides access to the eastern Palouse. The town was named after Julia Kendrick, an early settler's daughter.
