united states

Judith Gap is a tiny ranching town of 140 people along US Highway 191 in central Montana, about 60 miles north of Billings. The community sits in a natural mountain gap that creates a corridor for both travelers and wildlife. Most visitors pass through on US 191 traveling between Harlowton and Lewistown, while locals make short trips to either town for services. The town still operates one of Montana's few remaining active one-room schoolhouses, continuously serving students since 1914.
