Jonestown is a lakeside community of about 2,500 people sitting on Lake Travis, roughly 25 miles northwest of Austin. Take US 183 north to Cedar Park, then Ranch Road 1431 west for the most direct route. The town holds the distinction of being the only incorporated city that sits entirely on Lake Travis, giving most residents direct water access.
