Johnstown is a tiny Nebraska community of 12 people in Brown County's ranch country, about 15 miles south of Ainsworth via Highway 183. Access is primarily through Ainsworth on US Highway 20, with Ainsworth Regional Airport 15 miles north. It holds the distinction of being one of Nebraska's smallest incorporated cities.
