Jerico Springs is a small Missouri town of 279 people in Cedar County, about 100 miles southeast of Kansas City. Highway 82 runs right through town, connecting to El Dorado Springs 15 miles north and continuing toward Arkansas. Visitors typically arrive via Highway 54 from the north or use Highway 82 from surrounding rural areas. The town sits in rolling Ozark foothills with a continental climate featuring hot summers and mild winters. The community still preserves its original 1880s railroad depot from when the town was founded around natural springs.
