Jellico is a small mountain town on Interstate 75 near the Kentucky border, about 60 miles north of Knoxville. The town sits in Cumberland Gap where I-75 cuts through Pine Mountain, making it a popular stop for long-distance travelers. US 25W runs through downtown, while State Route 63 provides east-west connections. You can still see old railroad remnants from when Jellico was a major coal shipping hub.
