Jeffersonville is a small farming community of 263 people in southeastern Illinois' Wayne County. Take State Route 15 directly through town, or approach from Interstate 64 via Route 37 south. The area features typical southern Illinois farmland with corn and soybean fields. The town's historic one-room schoolhouse from 1898 still stands as a local landmark.
