Jefferson is a small city in southeastern Wisconsin that serves as the Jefferson County seat. Located along the Rock River between Milwaukee and Madison, it's easily reached via Highway 26 from Interstate 94. The downtown area centers around the historic Jefferson County Courthouse, a beautiful 1876 Romanesque Revival building with a prominent clock tower made of red sandstone.
