Jeffers is a small farming town of 368 people in southwestern Minnesota's Cottonwood County. Highway 71 runs north-south through town, connecting to Windom 10 miles south and Marshall further north, while County Road 15 provides east-west access. The area features rolling agricultural land with corn and soybean fields. The town is home to Jeffers Petroglyphs Historic Site, where Native Americans carved over 5,000 images into quartzite rock 3,000-7,000 years ago.
