Jamestown is a small Piedmont community in Guilford County, connected to the region by Interstate 85 and US Highway 311. Most visitors arrive via I-85 from Charlotte or Virginia, while locals use US 311 for daily commutes to Greensboro and High Point. The Piedmont Triad International Airport sits 15 miles southwest. The town's centerpiece is the historic Mendenhall Plantation, a preserved Quaker homestead that served as an Underground Railroad stop.
