Jamesport is a small Missouri town of about 700 people, located 90 miles northeast of Kansas City in Amish country. Take I-35 north to Cameron, then Highway 36 east to Gallatin, and Highway 6 north to reach town. The area is home to the largest Amish settlement west of the Mississippi, with traditional farms and craft shops throughout the rolling countryside.
