The town sits between New Brunswick and Princeton, connected by Route 522 and local county roads. Most visitors arrive from nearby suburbs or Princeton Airport, about 12 miles away. The historic downtown features a former Pennsylvania Railroad station from the days when trains ran the New York-Philadelphia main line.
