Jacksonville is a tiny farming town in north-central Missouri with just over 100 residents. Highway 24 runs right through it, making it a quick stop between Moberly (15 miles east) and Marshall (25 miles west). It's about two hours from both Kansas City and St. Louis via major highways. The town's 1902 one-room schoolhouse still stands on Main Street as a reminder of rural Missouri's educational heritage.
