Ivanhoe is a small farming town in southwestern Minnesota, 15 miles from South Dakota. Highway 14 runs east-west through town, connecting to Marshall (35 miles east) and Brookings, SD (40 miles west). Highway 68 provides north-south access to Tyler and Lake Benton. The painted water tower serves as a prairie landmark visible for miles across the flat agricultural landscape.
