Iuka, a small city of 3,100 in northeastern Mississippi near the Alabama border, serves as Tishomingo County's seat. Highway 25 runs north-south through town, connecting to Corinth 25 miles south and Interstate 22 for longer trips to Memphis or Birmingham.
