Iuka is a farming community of 231 people in south-central Kansas, about 15 miles southwest of Pratt via US-54 and county roads. Most visitors arrive from Wichita (70 miles east) or Dodge City (45 miles west) on US-54. The town preserves a one-room schoolhouse from 1904 that once served the scattered farm families of the surrounding prairie.
