Ithaca is a small farming community in central Michigan, about 90 miles northwest of Detroit and 45 miles from Grand Rapids. Take US-131 north to M-57 east from Grand Rapids, or I-69 west to US-127 north to M-46 from Detroit. The town sits along M-46, which connects to the broader mid-Michigan highway network. Its restored 1907 Carnegie Library remains one of the few original Carnegie libraries still operating in the region.
