Iona is a farming town of about 3,000 people located 10 miles northeast of Idaho Falls via US Highway 26. Most visitors take I-15 to Exit 119, then drive 8 miles east on US 26, which continues toward Wyoming and Yellowstone. The town sits on flat agricultural land and is home to Idaho's oldest operating LDS meetinghouse from 1883.
