Interlaken is a tiny borough in Monmouth County, New Jersey, squeezed between two lakes near Asbury Park. Take Garden State Parkway Exit 102, then Route 35 north for two miles. The 900-person community sits between Sunset Lake and Deal Lake, which gave the town its name and create its unique geography along the Jersey Shore.
