Inman is a tiny farming town of 153 people in north-central Nebraska's ranch country, about 20 miles southwest of O'Neill via Highway 11. Most visitors arrive on US-20, the major east-west route across northern Nebraska, then head south through O'Neill. The town sits among rolling grasslands typical of the Sandhills region, where cattle ranching and farming dominate the landscape. Its historic one-room schoolhouse still stands as a testament to the area's pioneer education system.
