Inglis is a small fishing village on Florida's Gulf Coast where the Withlacoochee River meets the sea. Take US Highway 19 north from Tampa (90 minutes) or west from Gainesville via State Road 40 (one hour). This Big Bend community offers Old Florida charm with excellent fishing in waters where fresh and salt meet. Local fishing guides still launch from the same historic docks their grandfathers used.
