Ingalls is a small farming town on US Highway 50 in southwestern Kansas, about 35 miles west of Dodge City. The community sits in wheat country where the high plains meet big skies. US 50 connects it to Dodge City and Colorado, while Highway 23 runs north-south to rural communities. The water tower features an agricultural mural visible for miles across the flat prairie.
