Ingalls is a small Madison County city along State Road 13, about 12 miles northeast of Anderson in east-central Indiana's farm country. Most visitors arrive via SR 13 from I-69 near Anderson, with SR 236 providing east-west connections. Anderson Municipal Airport sits just southwest of town. The community maintains one of Indiana's last volunteer fire departments that still uses a traditional bell to call firefighters to emergencies.
