Industry is a tiny farming town in Austin County, about 50 miles west of Houston via I-10 and Highway 159. With just 235 residents, it sits in flat ranch country where cattle and hay dominate the landscape. Most visitors pass through on rural roads connecting to Sealy or Bellville. The town's 1888 post office still operates from its original small building.
