Imogene is a tiny farming community in southwestern Iowa near the Missouri border, reached via State Highway 2 about 15 miles west of Red Oak. Most traffic comes from locals heading to nearby towns or longer trips connecting to Omaha via Interstate 29. With just 49 residents, it's one of Iowa's smallest incorporated places where the nearest traffic light is miles away.
