Idalou is a small farming town 12 miles northeast of Lubbock via US Highway 62, sitting among cotton fields in the Texas South Plains. The airport is 25 miles away through Lubbock. This community of 2,150 hosts the popular Wild West Days festival each June, complete with rodeo and live music.
