Iatan is a tiny farming community in western Missouri, about 25 miles northwest of Kansas City near the Missouri River. Reach it via I-435 to Highway 59 north, then follow county roads west through corn and soybean country. The massive cooling towers of Iatan Generating Station dominate the skyline for miles around.
