Hysham is a small farming town of 251 people along the Yellowstone River in southeastern Montana. It sits right off Interstate 94 at Exit 42, about 45 miles east of Billings and 35 miles west of Miles City. The town was established in 1907 as a Milwaukee Road railroad division point, and visitors can tour the original 1907 depot that now serves as a local history museum.
