Hurstbourne is a residential suburb about 12 miles east of downtown Louisville, connected by Shelbyville Road and I-264. The city offers easy airport access via I-264 to Louisville Muhammad Ali International, about 20 miles away. Major routes include US 60 for local travel and I-264 for regional connections to I-65 and I-71. The historic Hurstbourne Country Club features an 18-hole championship course designed by A.W. Tillinghast in 1926.
